Caviar Nails - Take 2

If any of you didn't know I'm quite a creative person and I always like to try out something new. For Christmas my sister brought me some more Caviar nail beads. I've seen and read up so much about these and it seems to be a new craze for nails!
If you buy the nail sets directly from the Ciate website it will set you back £18.00, plus postage. In my first post about Caviar nails I chose to buy my beads of Ebay for less than £3.00 which was a much more reasonable. I don't actually know where my sister got them from, but as she's a just graduated student I can't imagine she paid much more that a fiver for them!

If you want to see my first caviar nail experiment post click here. It also explains how to apply the beads, for those of you that haven't tried it before.

Would love to hear all your thoughts - as always. Thank you.

The Calm After The Storm

Hello!
Once again... I'm starting this blog post with an apology which I guess is never a good way to start but I haven't blogged in over a week... AND christmas is over and done with. (where has the time gone?!) Makes me incredibly sad, it always goes so quickly but I did have an amazing Christmas, it was great to see family and friends, eat loads of yummy food and chill out. I hope you all had a great time too, would love to find out what goodies you all got from Santa himself.

I have to say I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! It defiantly pays of to write wish lists on my blog as my boyfriend read them! And I got a pair of JEFFREY CAMPBELL'S! I was beyond shocked when I opened the box, it was the best surprise and I literally am in LOVE with them. I need to try and learn to walk in them so I don't break my ankle when I wear them!

As well as my BEAUTIFUL shoes, I got so many lovely presents of family and friends including a new onsie, perfume, some barry m nail varnishes, chocolate and money which I'm going to buy my Pandora watch with - which was also on my Christmas Wishlist, click here to see.

Here are just a few of my photos from Christmas Day, my dress was from Topshop (obviously!) Click here to see.

Barry M Obsession

Hello Again!
I hope you've all had a loverly week, and actually managed to enjoy the lead up to the big day... highly unlikely I'm sure as many of you may be running around like headless chickens doing last minute shopping as we speak.
I don't know if any of you have noticed BUT I decided to give Emma's Box a new look... I really would love your opinions because personally I'm getting bored with it already, I'm not great when it comes to computers or the internet so I was impressed with myself I even managed to change the colour! I would be so grateful if any of you could help me think of a design or new look.

If any of you have checked out my 'week in Instagram' posts or follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed I like to change the colour of my nails quite regularly! Especially in the lead up to Christmas with all the great range of sparkly nail varnishes there are in shops. My personal favourite is BarryM - their polishes are such good quality and they do AMAZING colours! Its not badly priced as well compared to OPI.

                                                          First Coat                                             Second Coat

Finished!
Nail Colour - BarryM - Pink Saphire Glitter 246

Nail Colour - BarryM - Diamond Glitter 247

These have defiantly been my favourite of the sparkly christmas nails. Its a BarryM silver polish which is used - however 5 coats of nail varnish (I kid you not!) It comes out very light, with not much glitter hence the layering to build it up. Also when it came to taking the nail varnish off... I was literally working up a sweat, but thats no surprise really considering the about of nail varnish which was on.

Nail Colour - BarryM - Peach Melba 229&Pink Saphire Glitter 246

I have this nail varnish on currently as I'm typing away to you all. Its simple with the pastely pink, then just a little bit of glitter on one nail. I think I will probably change it again before Christmas day... maybe a glittery reddish colour. Defiantly calls for a shopping trip to buy a new nail varnish!

1 Week Till Christmas

With one week until the big day, and time running slowly out of our hands the last minute Christmas rush has begun. I have to be honest, as much as I love working for Topshop/Topman Christmas is the most horrid time to work in any shop, with ever increasing amounts of customers and late night shifts it really does make me forget that Christmas is even here. Thats why I feel so lucky to have got away to go to Amsterdam for 5 days at the beginning of December (as many of you already know!) it put me in such a christmassy mood. Amsterdam is a beautiful city anyway, but with the Christmas lights its made everything look so much prettier.

I wasn't really planning on doing ANOTHER post about Amsterdam so to those of you who are getting bored hearing about it... I apologise. I just wanted to share with you some of my christmassy photos that I took while I was over there, after all I took a lot of them so wouldn't want them to go to waste.

I'd love to know if any of you have been to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park in London, and what you thought of it. I've heard so much about it and was gutted I couldn't fit time in to go last Christmas, so I've booked to go just after Christmas on the 30th of December. I've booked a hotel for the night with my boyfriend as well as were going to hit the sales while were there!

Your thoughts as always, please.
Thank you

Christmas Wish List #2

As Christmas is fast approaching with less than 10 days to go my Christmas wish list is forever increasing (click here to see my first Christmas wish list.) As many of you may know I work for Topshop and Topman so every time I go into work its just irresistible to not look at the gorgeous clothes and find something else I want. My mum always jokes that they should pay me in clothes as I just buy so much from there!
I'm also a massive fan of Topshop.com, they have so many more beautiful things on there than you find in the stores. I'm sure it won't come to a surprise to any of you that majority of my wish list this time is from Topshop, intact all of it is from Topshop, its all quite dark and grudgey too.

As for my Christmas shopping for family and friends, its all DONE! Wahoo! Such a big weight off my shoulder and plenty more time to shop for myself! Although I really don't have that many people to buy for the stress is equally the same. I've brought my sister a mixture of things from Mac, Topshop and Lush, my Boyfriend some Diesel aftershave, CK boxers and some things from Topman, my Grandparents a selection of goodies from Carluccio's. And I splashed out this year on my parents and brought them both tickets to see Robbie Williams in concert at Wembley in June (defiantly wish I was going instead!)

Would love to see any of your Christmas wish lists or what you have brought for family/friends. Your thoughts as always please.

Amsterdam in Outfits.

As promised here is my post featuring what I wore in Amsterdam. I've finally uploaded my photos on to my mac! I'm sure in my photos it looks like I was wearing the same thing virtually all the time, but I did pack mega lightly and have to wrap up warm so my outfits aren't amazingly interesting. You can see the theme of headwear is pretty strong throughout all my outfit choices.... right now I am loving hats, head bands and headscarfs! My new bowler hat in particular has hardly left my head! Its the one I put on my Christmas Wishlist (click here to view) so glad I treated myself to it, as its been worth every penny!

All the same, I'd love to hear your thoughts please.

Thank you

Back to Routine

Hello all!
I'm back! My plane landed last night in Bristol at 10ish, and I'm telling you now work at 9 this morning today was a struggle. Seriously lacking energy and needing sleep... However I had the most amazing time. 5 days went so so quickly, and I want to go back! Amsterdam is such a beautiful city, beyond the tourists, red light district and canabis cafes the city really does have its own culture. The architecture and history of Amsterdam is incredible.
I haven't had a chance to upload the photos from my camera yet, so all of my photos are going to be off my phone/instagram, but I will upload camera photos soon.

I visited the Anne Frank museum which is actually in the old house of where Anne Frank and her family were in hiding. It was so interesting to visualise and imagine how they lived there for over 2 years in that exact building which today people travel from all over the world to visit. I'm not a massive history buff but its something which defiantly is worth a visit if you are paying a visit to Amsterdam. I also went to the Van Gogh museum, the famous Amsterdam flower market and the 'Iamsterdam' landmark. I also payed a visit to the famous 'giant chess board' and the Hard Rock Cafe.

I was also so lucky that is snowed while I was there! On the Friday I woke up with the view of snow falling out of my hotel window. It was so beautiful and Christmasy! As you can imagine that day it was freeeeezing, so my hat, gloves and scarf all came in dead handy.

Sorry this has been a short post, I'm going to do some more this week all about Christmas in Amsterdam, My outfits and Swedish House Mafia (obviously...the main reason I went to Amsterdam!)

Let me know what you think so far. Would also love to know is any of you have been to Amsterdam and what you thought.
Until next time.....
