The Lazy Blogger

So this is my first official outfit post since errr god knows when. Feeling like a real lazy blogger. Recently I've been finding it really hard to find the time to blog. As I'm sure most of you will know I started a new job in January and I'm still working in my old job part-time as well, so its a 6 day week for me... which means most sundays are spent catching up on everything else I need to do (mainly sleeping!)

I'm still taking outfit posts with my iPhone so this is why I've been blogging less, as my photo quality isn't as good as it has been. BROKEN camera problems... hopefully this should (touch wood) all be getting sorted this weekend, so watch this  s p a c e ! !

You would think (hope) i'd have loads to share with you but really my life is plodding along quite drama free and un-eventfull. I hope you have all caught up on my post all about my holiday to Egypt - if not take a look here!

The hat I'm wearing is there pictures has barely left my head since the day I brought it, I feel so 'made in chelsea' whenever I wear it which I love. I just think that even teamed with quite a plain outfit it always adds a bit of interest.

LFW A/W 2014 : My Picks

Sadly I wasn't so fortunate to be at London Fashion Week this year, but don't you worry I still got my full update. I thought I would share with you some of my favourite picks from the shows.

                           Topshop Unique


Topshop Unique once again really did steal the show for me, amazing how they are so interactive and stream the show live for everyone to watch so even us who weren't lucky enough to get tickets can watch from the comfort of our own homes. I feel like Topshop Unique show their designs in such a good way which looks good on catwalk but also still looks wearable, which can't be said for all designers.

Felder Felder

I have to say this year I was really wowed the FelderFelder, which isn't a brand I can say I knew much about but some of their mesh pieces are to die for! I saw a lot of feathers in some of their clothing which looked incredible.

Holly Fulton

Holly Fulton is again another designer which I haven't heard a lot about before, but her designs were just immaculate, lots of clean cut pieces in a range of colours and patterns. I think I could quite happily buy all of her collection.




I saw some other great designs from Temperley London, Matthew Williamson, Mary Katrantzou, Barbara Casasola, Michael van der Ham, Issa and more.

Sweetheart Dress

This dress I'm wearing was brought for a grand total of three pounds... yes £3! How they can even sell a dress for that cheap is unreal. Thank god for Primark sale! I briefly popped into Primark on Oxford St on New Years Eve as my boyfriend needed a pair of gloves. I picked up this dress as well as a skirt, along with some tights and socks (the usual!) all for a total of £11.
I was in there no less than 10 minutes and I just had to get out. I have so much respect for the staff who work there, as the shop was a state! There was clothes all over the floor. 

Moving on... I spent New Years on the Embankment in London with my boyfriend (and the rest of London) all waiting in anticipation for the firework display. We defiantly weren't prepared for how many people were going to be there so next year, we'll be there about 4 hours before! I did hear that some people camped over the night before which I really don't think is necessary... you need to enjoy it as well! It did make me laugh when I got a text from my mum saying 'I'll be looking out for you on the TV'!! Hope you all had a fab New Years whatever you got up too.

2013 - What I Wore

So as the end of 2013 arrives and the beginning of 2014 starts I thought it would be good to recap over the last year in my life and on my blog. 

I started of the year dressing up as Lady GaGa for a fancy dress party and realised Blonde defiantly doesn't suit me. I went to London Fashion Week for the first time in February. My first ever car saw a turn for the worst on the M5 on the way to Birmingham. I celebrated my 20th Birthday. I travelled to Morocco and Marrakech. I went to Paris for the second time and tried snails and won't be having them again! I saw Craig David, Olly Murs and Robbie Williams live in Concert, but sadly none of that topped Swedish House Mafia in Amsterdam in 2012. I spent endless weekends in London, and even bumped into Katy Perry herself. In October I celebrated my blogs 1st birthday. And last but not least in December I landed myself a job in HR, and will be leaving my current job as a Visual Merchandiser at Topman in early January.

So to say the least its been a busy year, but whats been fun is looking back over my old outfit posts although part of me is cringing thinking "Why did I wear that?" in some posts, the other part is thinking "I forgot I had that top!" in others... I thought it would be a nice gesture none the less... but may I just add I CANT BELIEVE I BLOGGED MY GEEK TSHIRT! (hands over face with embarrassment) What was I thinking!  I'm happy to let you know it went to a charity shop about a month ago and didn't even qualify as a pyjama top!
I also am in shock how much my hair has grown...its crazy! People are forever telling me my hair grows quickly but in the pictures it really does prove it!

My new years resolution to you is going to do more outfit posts, it does seem crazy that in a year I only posted less than 108 outfits (all posts weren't outfit posts) when we all know there are 365 days in a year! I can defiantly tell towards the end of the year was probably my worst time for blogging, so I want to make sure I have a regular blogging pattern. 

Hope you have all had a good Christmas and all have an amazing new year. I'm spending my New Year with the other millions of people in London, and will be trying to catch a glimpse of the fireworks from the Embankment.
