Todays outfit post was a bit of a rushed one, as I designated today as my Christmas shopping day!(I think with the rest of everyone else in Bristol!) It was rammed, so busy. Obviously expected a Saturday 3 weeks before Christmas! But to my shock I brought everything, literally everything all in one day! Which meant obviously I had a little bit of time to shop for myself too.

Under The Weather

So as a continuation from my previous moany 'i'm ill' post newsflash I'm still ill. Still have tonsillitis, which has progressed into some type of man flu/cough! I want to cuddle up in bed all day and watch Disney films. 

And to make things even better I've been treated to night shifts at work this week! Friday I need you more than ever! And bonus.... its payday, about bloody time. I feel like its been the longest month EVER. It's also my boyfriends 21st birthday this weekend, so last minute shopping will be taking place the day before (on the day!) I'm taking him away for his main present but I can't tell you more about that as I've made that mistake before and he found out!

Black and Yellow

Considering I had last week off work, I'm slightly shocked at how quickly this week has gone. Other than me catching Tonsillitis (when I have no tonsils? Work that out?!)its been a good week. But its the weekend officially after 5pm tomorrow for me! I'm so excited about this Saturday because my friend Oliwa has managed to blag tickets to a sold out gig at Motion in Bristol to see the one and only Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac supported by Duke Demont and Cyril Hahn! I listen to Annie's Friday night show on Radio 1 without fail every week. I've seen her 3 times before, once in Leicester and the other 2 times a Creamfields, and she was amazing! 

Sorry about the totally FAKE smile on my face in these pictures, I was ill and cold hence why there was only about 4 pictures that are blog worthy! Ahhh well enjoy! Would love to hear your thoughts as always.

Feeling A Little Grey

Todays outfit looks totally boring and grey from a far... but believe it or not I'm actually rocking a pair of green tartan shorts underneath my big coat.

These pictures were taken in Bath yesterday by my boyfriend (crackin' photographer!)Bath is such a lovely city, I always like going there for a day out as its not far from Bristol, its so pretty. We were hoping to catch the Christmas Market, but we were a week or so too early.

I've had the week of work this week as holiday, and as Monday draws closer to us I'm dreading going back! I defiantly got far too comfy enjoying my lie ins, and day time TV a little too much.

Twenty Two Six is ONE!

So it seems a bit weird to announce that today is my 'blog birthday', and the only way I came about it was a few days ago browsing back to my very first blog post. (for those interested I wouldn't recommend scrolling back to find it!)

I just can't believe a year has come since I first started blogging on blogger, and how much my style of blogging has changed as well. The intention of having my blog hasn't changed from when it was first created however, I still want to share with you all my opinions, interests and of course, my outfit posts! Although I catagorise my blog to be a 'fashion blog' I intend in the future to involve more of my lifestyle into my blog posts, and pictures to go with it as well as just my rambling! 

Just want to say to those of you who are regular readers to my blog, thank you so much for your support. To know that you take the time to read and comment on my posts really does mean a lot so thank you.

New - Topshop Mom Jeans

As you may have all seen on my wish list for last week was a pair of acid wash mom jeans from Topshop. They were a bit pricey for a pair of jeans at £40, but I gave in and handed over the dollar! I have wanted a pair for ages but wasn't sure about the fit when I first tried them on. I tried on the smaller size they looked so much better and less like I was wearing my boyfriends jeans! Repping more tartan here (as promised!)

We'll Never Be Royals

I've been buying far too much tartan recently so this is the first of many blog posts you will see of me wearing tartan! The top I totally fell in love with in Topshop when I saw it, its not so 'in your face' as most tartan things are. To no surprise I wasn't the only one who fell in love with it and when I strolled into work I walked in to see another girl wearing EXACTLY the same outfit - even the same necklace!...awkward moment? But it was fine we embraced our great tastes and had to have a photo for a laugh!

I feel like this week has dragged a ridiculous amount and all I can say this THANK GOD the weekend is finally with us. I hope you all go out and have a blast! I know I will be.

Winter Wants

As Autumn arrives so does the arrival of my winter want list (anyone reading... xmas present ideas pleasssse!) I am loving all of the Tartan and Pleather around at the moment, in fact I have entered into the Pleather trend a little too much and own a total of 4 leather trousers. Eeeeek! I'm also a massive sucker for knitwear in Autumn, I could walk into Zara and leave with a whole collection of new chunky knits and not even bash an eyelid. H&M also do great knitwear when it comes to basics, and Topshop fob-offs!

Winter Florals are another favourite of mine, Topshop of course is the place to go. Or alternatively just team a pair of tights with your summer florals and your good for Winter!

Country Bumpkin

So apologies once again for the terrible quality of my photos, as I explained in my last post I am having to take photos on my iPhone until I can get my camera fixed.
This weekend was so chilled I managed to catch up on loads of things I needed to as well as fitting in some dinner dates and shopping sprees (of course!) 
My outfit is totally 'rahhh' in these pictures didn't mean for it to be at all, don't think the tartan scarf does it much favours! The shoes I'm wearing were a purchase about a year ago from Topshop, they are hands down my favourite and most comfortable boots ever. Hope you all had a good weekend whatever you got up too.
